My latest eBay listing was reported by this woman and no where in my title or description did I put the phrase ‘reborn baby doll’. I got a legal sounding email from eBay saying that my auction had been removed, yet it never was.
Now she has turned off commenting on her Facebook page and is deleting everyone’s comments! I wonder if she regrets this yet?

I have signed it. I did find one of my listing on Etsy that had that term, so I changed it. I don’t think that will help. I know on Etsy you can only be turned in so many times before they shut your shop down. So my fingers are crossed!
Ladies this is going to cost someone willing to fight this some money - we all need to back this and donate ( even if its just a buck or two ) to help get this handled in the right way - a form to revoke the trade mark must be filed and a fee of $300 paid just to get this started - when i called I was also advised to get an attorney ( that is Lots of money i am sure ) I was also told that someone ( he didnt give names is working on this he believes ) we need to find out who and do our best to support this any way we can

Reborns are a category on Ebay, not a brand. So if she is trying to corner the market of “Reborn” i don’t see how because there are no set guidelines, they are individual works of art. I’m thinking -stuffed animal, Llet her trademark that. “The original stuffed animal” I don’t see that working in her favor. What I do think should be done on places like Ebay is under reborns is have subcategories such as factory produced or handmade. Unless she is successfully able to get people removed and prove she’s correct, I wouldn’t give her the time of day…What she did isn’t right by no means.No she didn’t invent reborns, but who did? Did that person get any protection for their invention? They should have., if not it can be stolen or copied. However it probably wasn’t done because it can’t be- it’s impossible’ and not necessary.

Amy 444 can you tell us how to contact her and give support I have signed the petition and contacted the Trade mark office - but was told we need to file paper work and pay a fee and it was strongly recommended to get an attorney-all of this is going to cost money - we need to all support who ever is going to bat for all of us - but need to know who and how

#rebornbabydoll friends, the USPTO office has informed me they are bombarded with emails from those in our industry. While good that we are standing up, they are unable to help so many people and we can’t all file the same paperwork. So, I was transferred to a lady that can help and she will be calling me back with info on what we can do to combine all our complaints and get this request to revoke the trademark done. I am so happy to see so many coming together for the good of our industry and each other.

Well, she’s definitely getting noticed, just not in the way I’m sure she had hoped. I’m sure, after this… she will pretty much be out of business.

Is she deleting all the remarks off her facebook page?Last night she had tons of remarks about her and now they appear to all be gone?

She is. Everytime I looked last night it had been deleted also. She also took down her own ebay listings, etc.
