All of these pictures were taken at the same stage of painting under different natural lighting. I did creasing, veining, shading and very light mottling before starting the primary washes for skin tones. I love the Adirondacks but I will curse our short winter days until the end of time! I need more hours of sunlight haha

These cuties are coming along 
Did periwinkle creasing and shading. Need to finish that up on the weekend. I am itching to get done with these guys but they need so much more yet. Definitely more red.

On my screen they are perfectly red already - nice ‘just born’ color.
Thank you. In person they are not quite as red and the mottling isn’t as pronounced either.
