@jennyk, I’m just seeing this. So sorry!! That’s always a very sick feeling when that happens. Was your oven a NuWave?

Wow! That’s the kind of oven I need! I know those are tiny babies. But still. I can’t imagine being able to back 3 whole kits at once! :open_mouth:

Thank you- yep left me wanting to never bake again. The oven was a Rosewill Halogen oven. I was using an extender ring and two thermometers. If I have to stand there and watch it, that kind of defeats the purpose of putting it out of the house to avoid the fumes :worried: I am very scared now. There seriously was no warning and if the heat is not circulating the remote thermometer won’t save the vinyl :cry:

I’ve heard more tragic stories about the various halogen ovens than I’ve heard about with the NuWave ovens. Those other ovens seem to like to increase temps suddenly and melt kits. They seem less stable. So sorry! I don’t blame you for being scared.
