Ty SO very much Beautiful!!!
As Iām reading this thread, Iām wondering if we are āallā weirdos because of this reborn thing. And if I collect and make them am I twice as weird? Hmmā¦
I was going to ask about the listing picture also as @ludmila did. Most likely the only people looking for a kit would be fellow reborners. If your listing is a pic of the kit, it might weed out the doll shoppers and eliminate that potential headache. List the finished pic at the end of description as the example photo. The finished sculpt is definitely an attention grabber and if thatās the first thing they see, they might not read the rest of the description thoroughly-especially if thereās a language barrier. They might think, what a deal!
Iām just saying, not that I ever did that personally, for example with a pair of shoes, for my daughter, designer nikes, how much? no way!, Look what I found, what a deal!, bogus website, counterfeit shoes, ships from England, no China, hello mastercard-please cancel my card, hello my daughter-sorry no shoes. Yeah, what a deal.
Etsy is dwindling as they kept putting me on timeout. I have much more available in Ebay store now.

First time buyers have no idea what a kit costs and the rest of the supplies or time involved in making one.
The darn china knock off dolls make them to sound like an actual reborn for almost nothing.
As long as your auctions clearly states its a kit and not a finished doll i would just reply that ā¦gee I am sorry but my auction clearly states your buying a kit and not a finished doll and it is the norm that the cloth body is not included.
It is not your fault if they do not read it or understand it⦠If they are not sure what they are getting they should ask,
I always feel bad when people love my babies but cant afford one ā¦sometimes I wish I could afford to just give them one.
On the other hand there are those who try to scam us for refunds or freebies etc ā¦
As long as your fair and honest In your dealing I would just let the bad eggs go and try not to fret over it.
