Okay, so I have messaged a few of you, but I REALLY need some help. I have a Kimberly that I need rooted by a very skilled micro-rooter, and a shyann that needs to be rooted with dense, thick hair, not too pluggy. Is anyone free? I am super frustrated! The woman I was supposed to work with does excellent work, and comes highly recommended. I thought I was booked with her several months ago, but then she told me I was not booked until everything was paid in full, so that pushed my dates back on getting my work out to my customers. WELL- babies were due to be sent back to me this week. I sent a message to check in, and she told me she hasn’t even started them yet!! In her defense, she is having health problems, which I totally understand-- I have some too, but I am at a loss as to what to do about getting these babies back to the customers anytime soon. It reflects so poorly on me as an artist. I am super stressed. Help, anyone??
And now this… she is charging me for shipping both ways! And the mohair, which should have been discussed!

Now what?! First she told me I was booked for definite date, then said she needed ALL the money to book those dates. I paid all the money, and now she is ripping me off. She did not bother to communicate to me that I would not get my heads back until at least a month after scheduled return dates. Ugghhh.
She is ridiculous! I would let everyone know who she is and let her know that you are letting everyone know! So I hope $15 is worth her reputation!! So u wasted shipping costs to send her the dolls plus have to pay the shipping to get them back in the same condition u sent them to her? I don’t think so!!! It’s not your fault that she didn’t or couldn’t root them. That was the reason you paid money to ship them to her!! She ordered mohair for her to root, who’s to say you even like the mohair SHE bought, she should be the one eating the cost of the mohair. You paid for HER to root the mohair! So sorry this is happening to u! I’d root for you but it takes me at least a month sometimes two to root a head and you need these heads back faster than that! Hope you get it all figured out soon!
Seriously! Shipping should fall on her and she should give YOU the option of keeping the mohair or your money. You weren’t the one to back out. Man.
Thank you! Yes. She charged me $160, and issued an $85 refund through paypal. BUT SHE STILL HAS THE HEADS!!! Aggghhh! Do you think I will get them back, and in good condition??

I’d not say anything else to her except to mail them back to you asap so she doesn’t do anything to them. Then I’d open up a case with PayPal and show them all of your messages between you two. You should get the entire refund plus cost of shipping both ways!

You better get a lot of mohair back if she paid $60 for it. I would keep her appeased until you get the heads back. I don’t think PayPal will do anything since her fees were made in multiple payments. I realize she’s putting her reputation on the line for $15 but, for that same $15, you’re risking losing the heads. Definitely not an easy solution here.
Open a dispute in PayPal maybe? You can communicate there.
I really hope so. I had heard nothing but good things in the community, and her work was fabulous. We had kind conversations up until that point, but if I wouldn’t have checked in, the heads would have been done in a month or longer!! One was a birthday doll due last week, but she had already changed my dates because “she needed to be paid in full before saving the date”. I should have realized then, but with the good things I’d heard, it didn’t really cross my mind.

Do you have an email or anything? I think Amy had good suggestions, wait a few days and if the heads don’t arrive or arrive in poor condition then open a dispute in PayPal.
