Where do your reborns sleep?

Looking for an economical place for two reborns to “sleep”, that doesn’t take up too much space, like a bassinet or a Moses basket.

Any recommendations?

What does your baby bed look like?

Anyone have a cool antique or vintage pram or crib they’d like to show off?

How do you display your keepers, sleeping or otherwise?

I have a small crib, moses basket and 2 bouncy chairs all tucked in a tiny space. My son moved back home, and needed his room back!!

Mine sits on my desk shelf, but will soon be moved elsewhere as I’m planning to put a terrarium there. If there’s room she’ll sit next to it. If not she’ll sit on another shelf I have that has some meaningful objects on it, like pictures of my cat who has passed away and his paw print, and a box of my puppy’s baby things like his first collar.

I have two bassinets

Check craigslist and Facebook marketplace

I bought my antique wicker bassinet for pictures years ago for $10 at a swap meet

Also check garage sales and antique stores. I’ve got my eyes peeled for a Moses basket. I had one for my youngest when he was a baby and used it until it fell apart then stored toys in it until it wasn’t useable anymore lol

I keep one on my bed and I have a port-a-crib for the others. That way, I have room for incoming. lol

They do have new Moses baskets online as well. Some look sturdy and others flexible.

I’ll need something sooner rather than later for my Mom’s gifts.

I no longer have the luxury of doing my thrifting/junking/antiquing in person. Staying in and socially isolating due to Covid19. Who knows how many of the cool places to shop will be around when this is all over… I miss the big antique shows too.

Hoping some people post pix like was done with the workspace post, so we can all get ideas. :slightly_smiling_face:

Craigslist is a great idea, a resource I sometimes forget about! But right now I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing that. I rarely even go to the grocery store.

I bought a rectangular basket at Michaels for my chubby Sage-April kit.. My Remi-Mason kit-sleeps in a more narrow rectangular basket that we received filled with goodies a long time ago.

It sounds terrible but both baskets fit under the living room table, so they take up minimal space.image image

I’m drawn to the smiling reborns. The last one I want to get is Maddie.

Yeah, just a basic storage box could work. I was thinking of slotted plastic laundry baskets too, if nothing else. Certainly don’t need to worry about all the safety precautions that human babies need.:slightly_smiling_face:

I have a Moses basket and two car seats I leave them in. I keep them all covered since they sleep in my room even though I love them they scare me in the middle of the night :joy:

Who is the cutie in the back in the first pic?

Oh whoops, that q was for you. Who is the cutie in the back in your first pic?

My mom bought me a cradle. I would say “that’s what they are crammed into” rather than “that’s where they sleep” :joy:
