When she I saw the kit I was like… “Dear Lord, why me? You have got to be kidding!” The kit as pretty sad and my reborning was not much better…hahahaha! It was one of those kits that even a master artist would have had a struggle with and I was a relatively newer artist at the time… The only saving grace was that she was a custom and not one that I had to list for people to see…(Of course I am about to ruin my reputation now posting the pic but back then I had only been reborning a short time so though I had not really earned a reputation, I was smart enough to realize that if this one was presented in public my reborning career may see an abrupt end…haha! ) Just happened across her photos scanning some of my earlier folders and all the ugly memories came flooding back…hehe!
Now that looks like a cute & adorable doll~but to me~ RBEmmy was just an ugly doll~even before I started ~now the actual realborn model was a beautiful baby~it’s just this doll~ and mine was also a custom request for this kit ~I tried to talk her into a better looking budget baby~but it was what she wanted & as I’d send her progress photos ~she’d say just a little darker ~then all of a sudden it was way dark & no going back
I agree Emmy was not so cute. I think a lot of realborns don’t translate well in kits, like Blake and Lailani yawning… They’re such beautiful babies but their kits are questionable.
I think she is beautiful. Even before she had her hair in the pink pictures, she really suited being a bald. So pretty. If I’m lucky enough to get a kit of her, she’ll be a keeper.
The bottom lip is what made Celeste ugly. And Angel-poor thing. What else is there to be said? Both of mine sold, though. I don’t have a picture of my Celeste but this is Angel. She actually didn’t turn out too badly considering what I had to work with. I like challenging kits but Angel and Celeste were both tough.
