I reborned 2 of the Celeste , they were ok , not very ugly. I will look up my binder for photos. Surprisingly that time I sold both pretty fast .

I just could not figure out how to make Venera cute 
her proportions would make for such an adorable fairy if she was tiny, but she’s 26 inches and I just couldn’t do it. Even just trying to hold her limbs and paint her with acrylics was hard because her limbs were so long and floppy. In the end I made her an alien. She did not sell and I still have her somewhere, I think she deserves a makeover but maybe I need to just keep her head and give her other limbs. She wasn’t a cheap kit either.
re: Celeste, the awake one can look sweet sometimes but I’ve never seen an asleep one that looks… healthy 
I adore other sculpts from that sculptor though.

I don’t remember the kits name, but this one. I made her for supply costs for a nursing home and hated the whole process. The top of the head was weirdly small and the proportions were just off.

YES! I remember the top one…I did her too but don’t remember the sculpt name… forgot about her…I will have to see if I can find her - probably in some of my other folders I have not transferred to my new computer yet… I still have to send over photos files from 2009 - 2012… Will have to hook the other computer up in the not so distant future and bring across those files… You are right about the bright pink vinyl on those kits… I had a few like that in the early days… hated reborning them… 
Could never bring myself to paint angel… I looked at her many times because I like kits that are a challenge just to see what I can do with them but she was one that I just could not bring myself to buy… You are a brave lady… haha!
OH YESSSSSS! I forgot about Maddox… here is my sad little fella… fortunately he was a custom order otherwise I would never have bought the kit…

My Miss Magoo baby, God love her the kit is so ugly I actually thought she was cute. Like the face only a mother could love. And she sold fast, lol. I can’t remember the kit name or sculptor…

RBEmmy was the ugliest that I’ve done & I was embarrassed to even post photos of her because I didn’t want people to think that was all I could do 
the funny thing is that my sister loved it & wanted it for her granddaughter that she’s raising ~now that my niece can talk plainly ~she asked me why I painted her an ugly baby:rofl:
~I told her it was mawmaw’s fault she picked it out~ but let me tell you~ she will NOT let anyone else play with that baby
