What is.....? Totally off topic but I have an enquiring mind!

What wonderful stories you all have, thank you for sharing them!!

I was so frightened every time I flew! We had a Cessna 182 (seats 4) from 1991 until last month when we sold it so I figured I needed to be able to land it! LOL!

For me it would be the birth of my daughter’s, my first born was three months early, she weighed 2 lbs and was 14" long. She died as soon as they cut the cord…they worked on her and when I heard her first tiny cry,I cried. She was on life support for two months and another month in the hospital before she was well enough to bring home. Then after having several miscarriages and being told I could not have anymore children. My daughter came to me at six years old and told me she wanted a baby sister. I told her that the only way we could do that is if God gave us one. She prayed every night for a sister. Six weeks later I found out I was pregnant. My second daughter was born three weeks early but was born healthy. They both are grown now and doing good, my second daughter has more health problems now than my oldest. No grandkids yet, but I can’t wait…

When I left home at age 18, I joined the USAF and met my future husband. There was a hitch however. He received orders to Germany and if I wanted any chance to join him, I was going to have to extend for another two yrs. I was in for only a yr at the time and this was no guarantee I was going to join him. So I did and I joined him two months later just in time for Christmas. We Spent almost five yrs there and I believe it solidified the foundation for our marriage. Not having any family around and having just each other to depend on, We were able to concentrate on us. I guess it worked- we’re going on 29 yrs this August!
