What a wonderful, amazing MIRACLE story! Your daughter was meant to be YOURS. Thank GOD for answered prayers. I learned, in trying to find my brother for all those years (before internet, etc) ~ God hears our prayers and answers our prayers in HIS time, not ours. HE is in control and already knows his plan for us.

Your story gave me goosebumps ~ if it’s meant to be, it WILL BE! Look at her, she is a walking, talking, beautiful example of faith, hope, and love.

There are so many wonderful stories posted already so I’ll go another direction and share a couple of mine that are a not family related (tho’ that is where I get my best moments!).

I went TOTALLY out of character and learned how to ride a Harley. Suffice it to say, riding is NOT my happy place but my husband and I did it together and he was SO happy!

Another big moment for me was during a backpacking trip to base camp at Mt Everest. I am NOT a hiker but I was tired of being left home with smaller kids - and for this trip, they’d all grow up so I was free. Arriving at camp in the drizzling rain, I crawled into our tent and just CRIED because I knew I was in over my head. The next morning, I crawled out, turned around and saw a BREATHTAKING mountain that had been covered by grey clouds the day before. I cried then too😇

My two children and three grandchildren are definitely the top ones, but when I managed to complete all of the requirements and solos to get my private pilot’s license, that was definitely something I as proud of having accomplished!

The birth of my 7 children (first marriage) then meeting and marrying my second husband Joe in 1994. He died July 21 2011 of cancer at the age of 58. My heart aches constantly that he is gone but I treasure the time that I did have with him. So many beautiful memories to last me a lifetime. :heartpulse: :two_hearts: :sparkling_heart: :gift_heart:

So sorry for your loss Jackie… But that is also the exact month day and year my second daughter was born. And she wasn’t due for another week but I had some complications and that’s the day she came…I always find it amazing when I come across things like that, God takes a beautiful life but also replaces it with one. Hugs to you!

That is one of the most beautiful stories I have ever heard. My adoptions have God stories" too. Especially the story of my son from Kazakhstan, but it is very long, and God is all through it.

One of the happiest moments in my life was when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter Charlotte. My oldest daughter was married. My son was eighteen and just moved out and I prayed, “Lord, fill my house. I am not ready for an empty nest.” Little did I know that he had already answered that prayer before I even asked. After six years of doing nothing to prevent a pregnancy, I was pregnant at age 47. I turned 48 just four days after Charlotte was born. My husband and I adopted three more children after that all with amazing stories. Although these were all highlights for me, the most amazing and wonderful thing I ever did was to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Everything else pales by comparison.

Our parents divorced; Michael and I share a bio mom but not dad. He stayed with his dad and our mother took me from Kentucky to Nebraska, remarried to my bio dad & never contacted Michael or his dad again. In fact, refused to discuss it with me or anyone for 47 years. Now here I am with Michael and his dad in FL. My bio dad passed away 9 yrs. ago from lung cancer, never even knowing for sure that he WAS my bio dad…it’s a looooooong story. My “dad” here in FL is thrilled to have me back in his life, and of course Michael and I are so glad to have each other back! Took Mom a while to get on board, but she’s good with it now. She told me that she knew in her heart that if I ever found Michael I’d go wherever he was. She was right.

Are you KIDDING me, Pia!?!?!? If I told my husband I’m ready for flying lessons, he would be SOOO happy😜 He was set to go to the Air Force Academy. He chose Colorado School of Mines instead but has ALWAYS wanted to fly! You are SO cool❤️
