I just read this and had to laugh because I just got back from the PO after paying $39. in shipping and I had only charged $35.

I have set prices for my babies right now. I charged less the first year or so as I was learning and my work wasn’t great yet. This year I raised my prices because I have gotten way better with my skills. I charge $150 plus shipping for a painted hair BB baby. I charge $200 for a rooted BB hair baby. I do not root thick or long hair. Only a thin newborn amount. If someone wants thick hair I charge extra depending on how much the hair is going to cost me.For the higher priced kits I charge a minimum of $300 for a painted hair kit and $350 for rooted hair. I do customs and these are my prices for those. I also make pre-made BB babies with painted hair that I sell for $110 plus shipping if I buy the kit at $15 or less when BB has their sales. I also make a whole bunch of these in October-December to sell as Christmas special babies. I don’t really make a huge profit on my dolls because I don’t do it as a job. It’s just my hobby. I sell a lot of dolls and that has helped me get all the practice it takes to get better skills.Also, I have scoured the internet and have found the lowest bulk prices for all of my supplies so I can still make a profit and have low prices. =0)
