I JUST DIED FROM CUTENESS Nikki, Iāll dog watch anytime! Theyāre freaking adorable!
Thanks to those who shared their pricing structures! Anyone else?
Bottom line is you canāt tell people what to do. In a self run/owned business the owner/artist can do as they please. Many times I give repeat clients a lower price for dolls to show my appreciation. I have also gifted more than a few dolls to people.
I havent had a baby puppy here in 4 years. My girls are spade.
I miss their cuteness so much⦠and yum puppy breath! the pics are so adorable.!! Thanks it made my day.
About the pricing .i dont think you can get the chinese made dolls to up prices so always be some dollies in low price ranges.Quality does make the price difference though
You wont get a VanGogh for the same price as joe blows oil painting Same with dolls im sure.
I still have problems selling at 300. But this time⦠Iām not lowering my prices. I study and work wayyyyy to hard to keep short changing myself. I might not be the best⦠But I believe my dolls are worth what I ask. I do know that I need to work on my photography. And I finally got a camera! Watch out world!!! ļø
I will adopt you!!! And let you borrow my socks!!! ļø:heart_eyes:
You two are greatā¦!!love those puppies as wellā¦!!..here my 9 year old shih tzuās act like a bunch of puppiesā¦!!..that is, when theyāre not sleepingā¦!!..
Was just thinking of her and wondering how she isā¦I sure know how she feels being diabetic myself MichelleP20⦠Give her lots of belly rubsā¦!!..
Yes, thank you. Are you able to sell steadily with your rates priced how you like? I know often times buyers will try to haggle over the lower-priced dolls, and it can get kind of ridiculous.
Just share a puppy with me, and Iāll be happy!
Come over and a grab one!!!
I think I am sucking all the breathe out!!!
Oh, I believe itā¦they are so smartā¦!!..I always have to coat the kibble that I give our babies with a mixture that I make myself⦠I boil up liver, usually beef liver, and then put it through the magic bullet and then I make up a bowl of oatmeal, old fashioned quaker oats in the microwaveā¦then I add the 2 ingredients together and these guys just about lick their bowls clean every timeā¦!!..maybe if you check this out with your vet it will help your little sweetieā¦ā¦it only takes a little bit coat the kibble and then I freeze the restā¦sometimes I give very lean ground beef with oatmeal insteadā¦they just love itā¦
The forum is for everyone. I hope you keep posting. All is good the topic has switched to cute puppies. I donāt have a pic, but my dog has been pulling back the blankets on my queen bed to sleep in it. At first, I thought someone took a nap. Keep posting.
I think it depends on quality of work, artistry, as well as time spent to make it quality. Iāve seen beginners painting BB kits and selling them for $90 on eBay because they know they still have a lot to learn. Iāve seen BB kits painted beyond amazing by artists who have been doing this for ten years and many of them are able to get between $400-600. If someone likes a kit enough, they might be willing to pay a lot more if it is done well. Everyone is in varying stages of learning and improving. My first reborn was a rare Berenguer that I stripped and painted with air dry paints. It sold for $18. LOL And thatās all that it was worth because I was learning. The person who bought it knew I was brand new but liked the doll any way. Maybe she bought it and stripped it to reborn better than what Iād done.
My cat did that! She got under the blankets and placed her little white head ON MY PILLOW, human style. At first, I thought my husband had posed/placed her, but no, she did it herself. How I wish I had a picture. She was so sweet.
Aww, my first was a Berenguer too that I found cheaply on Ebay. I have a soft spot for them now. I bet it wasnāt that bad!
It wasnāt as bad as a practice doll (a BB Anna kit) that Iād done just before that. LOL I too have a soft spot for Berenguers.
My kitten did that too! Except heād lay down right in between both pillows! He was a little cat but it was still so funny and annoying lol! I have a pic, Iāll post it when I can find it lol
Hello all, this is my first time on the BB forum! I have been reborning for about 2 years now. I have made 20 monkeys and 41 dolls. I love doing this, and have not had a chance to put a doll on email or reborns.com. Every doll or monkey that I complete is for a birthday or Christmas present for family, or I sell, mostly as a custom order. My dolls start at $120.00 (standard BB kits), and have only completed bald or painted hair babies (which includes outfit of my choice, blanket, pacifier if it will fit the doll, and the baby smell). I do root hair on monkeys, and I am working on a micro-rooted baby (first one). I know that what I am selling the babies for doesnāt account for time, however, I know the market that I am selling to, and most of these dolls are for little girls. I do make sure that I let the customers know that these are hand-painted dolls, and give out a āNote from the Artistā including a little care instruction paper.
