The problem would be that as the smell comes out it would be enclosed in the oven and the kit would be sitting in the smell, it could be reabsorbing it again. You need fresh air circulating around it. Maybe open the oven every now and then to get fresh air in, or sit it somewhere and now and then warm it up with hairdrier.

My hubby bought a bottle of this spray called Odor Bully at Menards. I had a mouse get into a cabinet in my camper and it worked very well. I have Washed vintage smelly ribbons and trims is a strong Suavitel fabric softener bath. Both of these you will be trading to a different maybe perfume odor…
