Silicone Baby in Horror Movie - who was the artist?

Does anyone know the name of the reborn artist who made the silicone baby featured in this horror movie? My husband showed me the trailer today and I was so excited - I love horror movies! (Or maybe this is a series, not a movie, either way pretty cool it has a reborn in it – not just a “prop” but part of the plot of the show).

Same here - I have to figure out how to stream an Apple TV show now!

And I wonder what happened to the baby! Did they auction it off after the movie was made? I would think it would become sought after since the director’s pretty famous.

Interesting. They are actually acknowledging it’s a reborn doll and not trying to pass it off as a baby in the plot. More stereotypes of doll people as crazy?

It’s a horror movie. Often stereotypes are expressions of things we find uncanny. There’s no doubt many people view “fake babies” this way.

I personally don’t, but I can still enjoy horror movies :slight_smile:

Yes, hence the horror!! LOL

But I feel like a movie/show about this was bound to happen. The creepiness / uncanny valley with dolls was already there.

I love my dolls, and think they are so cute, etc, but I know my husband thinks the opposite lol

That’s not the first time I heard this kind of story, particularly in a hooror theme, a woman loose her baby and “adopt” a doll. Now with reborns and silicones, it’s a golden mine for movies makers !

It does perpetuate the line that doll people are crazy. But I’m okay with that. I am kinda crazy. I’m 40 years old with a room dedicated to care bear toys. And I don’t have kids.
