Silicone Baby in Horror Movie - who was the artist?

Not having kids is all the more reason to be able to afford hobbies! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

If it makes y’all feel better the actual doll is barely in the show. I watched the first season but haven’t bothered the watch the second.

I watched the first few episodes. But it was weird and didn’t keep my interest.

Aww if they make Dolly ladies look weird they could at least do a good job, lol!

Nah it’s definitely not a dolly person the lady is sick. They don’t really drag the dolls or anything.

Great. So not only is this a movie with someone who has to be sick to enjoy a doll, but then the doll comes to life?? Lol
Sorry, guys, this is sounding worse and worse.

I don’t think she’s enjoying the doll so much as she’s trapped in a psychosis where she thinks the doll is a real baby. There’s no doll aspect. She and everyone else treats it as a real baby. The husband more to placate her but she absolutely believes the baby is real. Then somehow it turns real. It’s wild.

I always hoped for that as a child, that my dolls would become real. Who knew that way after I was grown, it became possible!

I agree with @RosieCait, that’s nothing to do with enjoying a doll. The poor lady lost all her pregnancies and finally after having a baby she lost him too. She doesn’t realize that it’s a doll, in her mind it’s real.
It’s the same with some older people with dementia or Alzheimer.

They could as well use a ragdoll or a little plastic doll it would have been the same.

By the way, that give me a good idea about what rooted hair looks like on a siliconešŸ˜…

I think that’s the common thought of people with reborns. That they have lost their minds. I think, in fact, that is rarely the case.

I had an imaginary friend who babysat my dolls while I was at school. Just in case. I was a strange child. Lol

@ZeldaDawn I always wanted an imaginary friend. Never happened though. :slightly_smiling_face:
