Umm…it looks good to me. What do you think is wrong with it?
How cute! You make me want to try to make a dress.
Thank you guys! @AnnieSokay and @ttulsajess
There is a lot that you can’t see from the photos. The seams are very uneven. And the lining of the hat is not cut quite the same as the outside. The camera hides a good bit. But the dress was my second attempt and the hat and bow my firsts. So hopefully I will improve more next time.
Well, you’re doing great. You should keep sewing.
Wow! That looks beautiful. You did an awesome job. It doesn’t look like a bigginers job. It looks like you have been sewing for ever.
The hat is amazing!! I can’t believe that’s the first one
So cuuuute!
Adorable! Great job
Love! I have a sewing machine still in the box because I’m scared of it
Looks beautiful to me.
They’re very cute. I really like that the dress is reversible. If you want to get the hang of straight seams practice them on lined notepaper. Cutting the hat and the lining at the same time will ensure they’re the same size. You can do it with both sides of the dress, too.
Love it!!!
Well done. It’s perfect. Your stitches will improve with more practice. Next time cut the hat fabric with the lining fabric together for the same size. However we can’t see that. I love the outfit.
I am self-taught designer. Well I was first taught by my granny and I improved with time. As kids from age 6 till 12 I made clothes for my dolls and friends’ dolls. In my twins I made tops and anything simple for my own and in my young adulthood people became interested in my clothes so I took this up as a business.
I don’t buy clothes for myself except underwear and sleepwear.
Darling outfit !!! You did a good job from what I see.
Thank all of you so much!
@jeanhai and @ForeverFaith thank you so much for the help!! I will definitely be doing what you guys suggested. I really appreciate it!
I love your little outfit! Very cute.
You did such a great job!!!
They look great. I’m teaching my cousin @LillyPoodle to sew. She has made lots of striped pillows to practice her straight stitches. The lines of the stripes are a guide also I told her to put her machine on the slowest setting and take her time
