I am wife to a husband who loves me and mom to a three year old, energy-packed intelligent young man who adores me(now mom of two, a 6 years old son and almost 2 years old daughter). I am a fashion designer by profession but work from home. I grew up loving and collecting dolls and used to take my friends’ dolls home to make clothes for them.

I always knew there are these life-like dolls but didn’t know what they were called and didn’t know one can make them themselves. Then I was looking for mannequins for baby clothes I design last December, so I searched for dolls and came across the word reborn dolls. That’s when my interest was sparked. I love babies and children that’s why I even decided to design clothes for them. I am also a children’s church teacher.

I was lucky to even find out about BB and found they had a sale(I didn’t know they had sale almost daily). Other reborn kit suppliers are too expensive for me (dollar-rand exchange). I am South African so I also searched for suppliers as well as reborners locally online. I bought 3kits and Genesis starter kit from BB December 2016 and bought 2 more in January 2017. LOL! I bought other supplies locally. I have not started on even one baby yet. I am still learning. I have watched and continue to watch most if not all reborn tutorials on YouTube daily and reading on this forum and everywhere else I find(painted and rooted only 3 to date February 2020 as I fell pregnant in 2017)

I am happy my husband supports my interest. So because I don’t buy clothes, I make for myself I told him if he wants to buy me anything he can order from BB. He bought me Shyann for Valentine’s day. LOL! But I had to pay for my own shipping. I know what I want for my birthday in September or Christmas. LOL!

Oh I forgot to say, one of my hobbies is writing hence this storybook above about me. I look forward to making friends here and learning.
