REBORN DOLLS - BEWARE - Scammer site stealing photos, CALL TO ACTION, new sites are opening and using different artist photos

I agree, that’s how many thing, BUT they should still be researching and comparing, learning prices. The cost of making a reborn and therefore its value needs to be explained to those who ask for cheap reborns. Since reborns are not ordinary dolls, such as what Walmart and etc. sells, and they are works of art, the price is going to be higher. It’s common sense but many don’t seem to listen to their common sense these days. If they don’t listen to what we explain to them, then what happens to them is on them and should be a learning lesson. Sometimes in life we have to learn the hard way about some things. I have more respect from those who have learned the hard way and learn than those who get scammed but don’t learn the difference between the real and the scam or about pricing.

Most of the current scammers are in other countries and it’s not easy to stop them. I report these counterfeits on eBay all the time but eBay does nothing about them. They love their mass sellers, most of which are in China.

I don’t know why, but two left legs is the funniest to me!
I know I should be crying, but…

I think the acid monkeys and Lord Farquaad are the funniest to me

:joy: :joy: Lord Farquaad!! LOL!! And in the buff. Too cheap for clothes! And the monkey: “You order life-like big monkey doll, we send you tiny, smelly rubber epic fail. You not like, we not care.”

You guys are all saints for helping so many people avoid scams! I hope these people realize how much time so many of you lovely ladies have taken to document scam sites and spread the word to consumers.

Thank you. It is nice to hear appreciation every once in awhile. It balances out the 'f— off" I got from a FB scammer earlier today.

They don’t do research because they :
1.Impulse buying
2. Don’t know there something to research.
The majority don’t know what is a reborn. Their little kids ask for them and at 6 years old, how can you explain ? So they just thought it’s a realistic doll, see the 1st sit coming up on Google and find 75$ expensive for a doll…they can’t imagine that it can be more than that.

For them, it’s just a toy…until they got scammed and THEN do a bit of research.

That monkey! Looks like a cross between a dog toy and one of these stress squeeze dolls.

Yeah, but the “if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is…” adage is still true, though, and for some reason I think some of them want to believe it can’t be a scam.

If they were from a legit company, I agree.

But as it is they scammed a lady out of $400 with a stolen picture from Gakman Creatures.

I dont think it will. I have no clue how it would. Unless the whole world had the same laws and standards.

Thankfully I get at least one message a day from someone asking why I put angry faces on such and such page. (Scam pages)
So it helps a little at least.
There is still post after post asking
“Realistic lifelike doll for my child for Christmas, must be full silicone, rooted hair, box opening and budget of $150. Don’t wanna spend to much on their first doll”
Explain the cost only to get
“Well that’s all she asked for so”
Then you get the ones praising ivita/NPK for their cheap silicones.
It’s a losing battle, but 🤷
Those who actually stand for our sculpturs, will continue to try to warn people.
There is also now a bunch of (I’ll be nice) saying that it’s not actually illegal and they aren’t counterfeit since Amazon/eBay etc sells them and if they were the sculpturs should go after them. It’s like talking to a brick wall

From what I’ve read on this thread people come here only AFTER they being scammed.
Do your research first, people!
