I think eyeing the measurements may be hard to do. I sent 2 partially used 4 ounce IRHSP mattes. I would have assumed probably 6 ozs worth but they sent 5 back. Which I am fine with. My paints I sent were ones I didnt use, but had for years. I bought them before I had a preference.
But I have heard of someone else who sent in a lot of 1 thing and they think they are getting back a lot less than they sent. I advised them to say something.
I know it is a “free” swap, but if they are shorted alot that is not fair.
I got mine back today they were packed nicely. Cant wait to try them out. Especially the matte!
Mail lady had a “brain fart” and put them in my neighbor’s locked box… so we had to get that situated, but I have them now. Lol
We have gotten a couple of emails asking about how we process the swap boxes and reading the comments above, I thought I would add something about it here.
When we open a box we take out each jar and open it, we record what is in it. A determination is made on how much is in the jar. Some are obviously new and we use the declared volume on the jar. If it is just used a little we record it at full volume. All the jars are added together to get a total volume. Some are thinking we are using volume by weight, we are not we are using fluid volume. Some are sending in empty jars, they are just counted as 0 volume. Then we look at the note in the box and see what the request is. We get as close to the request as possible up to the volume that was sent in.
I had to giggle a bit at the empty jars too! Obviously there has been some confusion about it.
According to the items listed in my shipment order notice I am receiving what I requested. I am so appreciative to BB for doing this so that I can try other mediums and colors and get rid of products I do not like/use. I will try to do aother video review soon on my Youtube Channel of what I am using. I am so pleased with the things I have used so far. This line is wonderful!
