Yes, I was on Gerbers site 3 times! :see_no_evil:

I am joining the Party with Easton as a Cuddle Baby! I may be late but I have been wanting her as a Therapy Cuddle Baby for myself for a while so I am going to paint her myself. I have been working on her body from (@RoseannsBoutique) to make it soft and the perfect weight. I’ve bought clothes and shoes for her (Gerber), lol. I hope she is as wonderful as all of yours! I’ll be posting her Cuddle Head soon!

Thank you for that comment! I have her little head sitting in my studio- she’s on hold at the moment:)

WIP on my monochromatic sad hobo clown from the Honey kit. I used the second pic found on a google search as my inspiration. He’s meant to have a vintage picture look. I’m also using this one for the Halloween parade so I won’t post finished pics for a while. Waiting on his hair and wardrobe to arrive. He’s actually much mor grayscale in person than my tablet will capture, not flesh colored at all (the blanket he’s lying on is actually bright blue. Tells you how off the colors are). I’ll try to get better pics in natural light later.

Is she dark enough for biracial? What does she need skintone wise? She has not had her final blush, creases or other touches.

She’s perfect for Caucasian. But I don’t see biracial at all in her.

The pictures lighten her a little. She is darker than my arm. She basically looks like a sun tan white lady skin tone. I was looking at pictures of biracial newborns and they basically look like tan white babies, so I’m kind of at a loss at what to do

She’s lovely! Maybe a few washes of burnt umber/ blue or burnt umber/purple if you want her more obviously biracial. But people of all races come in a variety of skin tones!

She has so many burnt umber washes at this point that she looks a little grainy. What do you think raw sienna might do? Or straight ultramarine blue?

I’ve really been enjoying this thread, can I play!? I’m working on Ferdinand which is an old sculpt, but I am using new limbs. Hopefully he still counts:)

I fell in love with @katieperry’s Ferdinand, otherwise I never would have given him a second look. I just love that sweet little face! I’m using Realborn Aria’s hands, they are the right size and one is open enough to hold my finger, which I love! I was planning on getting Sylvan so I could use his faun legs, but luckily Fawna was announced so I’m going to use those legs instead as it will be less $ for just the legs. I’m basing my baby Faun on Tumnus from The Chronicles of Narnia:) Right now I’m doing washes to get the hands and head to match, it’s taking forever but I think it will be worth it!

A thin straight blue wash may darken him up a bit. It’ll probably also tone down his yellow glow though. I think he looks great as is!
