Looks like a boy to me, so I will say I adore this guy! :star_struck: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
That inside mouth sculpting is incredible!

what kit is this?

Oh no! I was hoping for a girl.

This is Josephine Brace. A really old kit, edition of 500. There is a twin that I don’t have- Genevieve.

I think this one could go either way. I see a little girl. Stick a bow on her. It can change the look. I love her hair.

Thank you, going to try that. I don’t have much for boys around here, searched a little online earlier and am suffering sticker shock. Either I’m looking in the wrong places or clothing has gotten really expensive!

She’s gorgeous! I have Genevieve!

Well I thought she was looking better but is still really orange. This hard vinyl does not blend well either. I might build up the lips and details and do the rest with powders then move on.

I have faith that you will win the war with the hard vinyl. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

She is beautiful and soft, almost like an airbrushed look.

Oh wow  beautiful hair and the details in her mouth, wow!

Thank you. I do like how well sculpted her mouth is, but boy am I having a problem with a pacifier. I’ve been cutting them left and right, but the gums stop it from going in far enough.

Have you tried cutting it off at the full depth you need, then clipping straight up the sides towards the pacifier base, slimming down the sides and having the top spike be shorter than the bottom one so it fits in under the lip but stops before the gums?

No, but I’ll try that. Thanks for the suggestion.

I hope it works for you. I’ve had it work in the past.

I’ve been busy moving out of my apartment and getting my new doll room set up, so I’ve been eager to get working on some babies! Mumma’s Little Monkey is definitely a keeper, not sure about Elsie Anne, she may have to stay with me too!
