Let’s show our WIP part 4 (Part 2)

I finally finished rooting Juno yesterday! I still need to trim and stuff today.

And started working on Kiara and Laura while rooting Delilah in between

Love the thick, dark hair! My cousin’s wife just had a baby boy with hair like that- so gorgeous

That and tension in my shoulders. I don’t know why I keep my shoulders up while rooting all. the. time! Even after mentally reminding me to relax, they go up in 30 sec.

My neck is a problem when I root. An hour and a half is my limit, and even that is pushing it.

I didn’t know you offer these services. I have babies that need to be finished too. I’m not as hardcore as Kelly though, so just your presence would suffice. :joy::rofl::joy::rofl::joy:

Oh I do this too. I have to consciously try to relax them.

Rooting Phoenix Arcello and this German vinyl is SO tough to root! Could be a long time getting him finished……just destroyed a needle.

Is it because the vinyl’s hard or too soft? I fill my heads up to the neck flange with poly pellets and pack them in tightly with paper towels. It keeps the vinyl from ‘giving’ so there’s less chance of needles bending and breaking. When I’m done, I dump out the pellets. I don’t heat my heads but with this method I hardly ever break a needle.

Vinyl is hard but when heated with lamp, it gives too much… Going to try heated rice sock tomorrow… Quit for a marguerita today! Much more satisfying.

I too would also rather drink a margarita than root :joy::joy::joy:

Poor thing waiting for hair

I hate the smell of the rice sock and I worry that any rice residue will attract bugs. I only used it once. I wonder if glass beads would work instead. Enjoy your Marguerita.

I don’t think the glass beads would transmit the heat?

So sweet Caitlyn… love her coloring.

Heated rice was gross for me too

I have always used rice socks for pain(especially jaw and tooth pain/migraines) I actually like the smell, I guess I’m weird lol.

Me too! Maybe we’re weird together lol When I was a little kid my grandma would give me a warm rice sock when I was sick and the smell reminds me of that. And I still use it for pain too. I’ve had a lot of neck pain recently and it’s been a lifesaver!
