I prefer longer sessions. But I don’t want to mess with it if I can’t root for at least 2 hours straight. But today I broke my own rule and rooted Kodi’s head for about 30 minutes. Long enough to see how that hair was going to look on him. Then I sat him aside and did laundry and other housework.

When I route, I usually set my timer for an hour and when it goes off, I get up and walk around or grab a snack or go to the bathroom even just for five minutes but it helps save my back to just change positions for a bit.

Yes I sit at my desk too. Many moons ago I sat on my couch. I don’t think my body could handle that anymore.

My butt goes to sleep if I sit on a couch… LOL 
That doesnt include trying to root a head with mohair and needles everywhere

Ya, I haven’t sat on the couch to root in 8 or more years. I used to sit on the couch in front of the tv and bend my legs up and put a pillow on them so the head would be closer to my face and I would have to hunch over. Now I just do everything in my craft room and watch shows on my computer.

I used to sit on the couch too…knees and back cant do it anymore…i sit at my worktable to root…usually for about an hour or so…then time for a break.
What gets me is my neck…leaning in to look through the magnifying lamp…ugh.

Mine would go to sleep if I sat at my desk. The couch is most comfortable to get a good angle. I’ve been rooting in bed lately so I can spend more time with Mark when he goes to bed 
it’s become a routine and he enjoys it. Otherwise usually I’m in the other room painting while he’s watching tv in bed
