I think it’s best to let this go.
You have your standard. That’s fine for you.
This artist did nothing wrong. They did not lie or use inferior products simply because its not your standard.
You don’t get to make the industry standard.
And since you don’t want to actually tell the artist that the material isn’t up to your standard then they can’t change it or even know that it could be a problem.
Those are the facts.
Your standards are YOURS. expecting others to do things how you would do them is a recipe for upset. You can only control YOU.
as for photos. I won’t be taking any more pictures just to show the inside. I have to take enough already and I usually end up with requests for more somehow.
Non-reborn artists aren’t even going to have a clue what any of it is. Imo.
I’m getting better about it, but when I was younger I couldn’t even touch the inside of a chip bag, I had to tip the chips to the front! For a while my sister thought my niece inherited my weirdness, but she outgrew it.
