Hello everyone, first I’d like to state I am in no way trying to create drama. I hesitated to post this but after thinking it over I thought it was the right thing to do.I hope I’m posting this in the correct section if not please excuse me.
I do not know how many recall Oakley Jades (dollyheaven) post in regards to Sailor Rose but he sought help in removing black marker on a doll he supposedly purchased off of Craigs list, he then put Sailor up for sale. I sent Oakley a pm in regards to purchasing Sailor, his response was instant, we exchanged several pm’s. As soon as I sent the money via pay pal (marked services/goods I even included 5.00 extra to cover his pay pal fees) there was no further response, All communication ceased on his part, I have sent several pm’s, looked Oakley up on Facebook, his profile picture is of Sailor Rose, the very same doll. I sent a message via Facebook as well as email’s no response what so ever. prior to my pay pal payment Oakley assured me that he would ship Sailor the next day. I have not received the doll. Zero communication the instant Oakley received my payment that night.
I put in a dispute with Pay Pal as of this morning. I am posting this just in case one of you know anything about Oakley or possibly purchased Sailor as well?
My intentions were to try to remove the marker, I’ve had experience don’t ask lol but if all went well I actually planned to ship Sailor back to Oakley, my heart went out to at that time I thought her but on FB gender is listed as male, I did not state this to Oakley I didn’t want to get her/his hopes up but now I truly feel this person scammed me and had all intentions of scamming anyone else that may have purchased Sailor from her/him.
I’m sorry! I thought scam as soon as I saw the post. In the future, ask the group before dealing with new members… Or members just joining to sell things. Unfortunately, this has happened many times. Take a look at the positive feedback thread on this forum.

Hi! No it wasn’t much money. It’s not the money that irks me it’s the fact that this person intentionally set out to scam someone that night I fell for it. I just hope that someone else on here didn’t purchase Sailor that night as well! As you stated you just never know which is such a sad thing.
I’m so sorry this happened to you. How sad that you were going to try and removed the black mark and then send the doll back to him/her. It was an act of kindness on your part but an act of deceit on the sellers part. That makes me so very sad.
Thanks for the heads up. You purchased Sailor Rose to remove and black mark and then were going to send her back? Not sure I’ve got the story straight … Just trying to make sure. Sorry you were scammed
That’s one of the biggest reasons I do not do business with anyone on here that is not a regular. Too many crooks in the world these days. There is a topic on here about members that you have had good dealings with that is also a good place to check and see if it’s someone who has sold or purchased before. Sorry and I hope pay-pal gives your money back.

This is so sad. If people would put their minds to the honest and good side of life instead of how to cheat other people out of their money or posessions, this world would be a much happier and friendlier place. Thankfully, we do have many more honest people but we still have to be careful.
Hi! Sorry I had errands to run, it is so sad that others scam people! There are a few things in a person that I despise, a lair, a thief or someone that uses others.
I did escalate my claim with Pay Pal this morning. So now I await the outcome, I’m certain they will rule in my favor I can’t see them not but who knows.
@colee1970 Yes I purchased Sailor and Yes I had planned to ship Sailor back to dollyheaven if I could remove or lighten the markers, I felt bad for her/him and thought gosh I’ve worked magic on some of mine that my step grand children had a field day with while I was away. Sailor doesn’t look remotely as bad what I found once home. . I realize that y’all do not know me, I rarely post but that’s just me, I thought a good deed thing, to perfectly honest I had planned to or hoped to remove the marker, I would have dollyheaven’s mailing address so I’d just ship her back and surprise her. Call me crazy but I’ve done this before with others. I feel if I can do something nice for someone maybe they would pay it forward do a good deed for another.
I can assure all I have learned a lesson and will consult the list or one of you before purchasing or trading for that matter. As for as doing a good deed, this won’t stop me lol
I completely understand, @missy_mooz. You sound like me in a way, just a nice person who likes to spread a little kindness around in this selfish, messed up world. Because of my nature, I’ve been screwed over more times than I can count, but it doesn’t change me. I will continue to be me with a personal belief that these kind of people will be paid back by someone much greater than I.

I did not post this seeking sympathy I thought gosh what if dollyheaven was contacted by another and they purchased Sailor! How sad would that be for them if they were still going back and forth. I will admit yes I should of thought prior to doing, normally I can spot a scam 10 miles away but my heart overcame my brain and I thought gosh I so want to help.
I truly appreciate each of you and your support, I’ll post the outcome when or if Paypal refund’s If by chance someone spots this same Sailor I’d love to hear the where and details NOT that I’d buy her again lol just to alert others of this scammer, I’m sure without a doubt this person will do this again.
