Aw they look so sad when they arenāt feeling good. She was just at the groomers on Tuesday so wonder if she picked something up there.

Could be for sure! My guy just started a new food recently so I think jts not agreeing with him particularly well
I think she is feeling a little better now. Ate and drank a little and went for a short walk. Hoping the food stays down

Thatās great! Iām currently at emergency vet with my big man. Hoping for good results
(Heās muzzled because he has extreme anxiety around vets especially having his face and head touched. Never bitten but better to be safe than sorry)

Weāre home now, he has pancreatitis. The doctor also suspects he has addisons disease but we need to pursue further testing on that with his regular vet once heās feeling better.

Well shucksā¦.
Itās unfortunate but explains a lot of unexplained symptoms heās been having. The doctor thinks itās related to him spending a lot of time on prednisone as a puppy for his autoimmune disease. While it was the necessary treatment at the time, the dr thinks it may have damaged his growing adrenal glands. But even if thatās not the case, poodles are prone to addisons disease, so I canāt really be TOO surprised. It would be like getting a dachshund and being surprised it has a bad back

Heās had it pretty rough health wise for sure, but heās a happy guy regardless thankfully! We were at the vet so long yesterday he made himself comfortable in the exam room lol

Also his muzzle is custom from the muzzle movement, itās amazing and so comfortable for him! It has room for him to fully open his mouth to pant, and has a hole in the front for giving them treats. Plus you can get so many fun colors which I find helps reduce the stigma of muzzled dogs a bit! Fennec wears their size Taz*

Calluna got sick this morning again and it was tinged with blood 
She was acting normal Saturday and Sunday. Vet appointment tomorrow afternoon unless she gets worse and switching to bland diet.
Hopefully the vet can figure it out!
Fen was having explosive diarrhea and after a few days there was blood in it, bright red so less of a concern as it was likely from straining to go so much. It stopped quickly but booked him an appt with the vet. We took him to emergency when the blood was dark and almost looked like raspberry jam, meaning it was digested. Poor pups not feeling well is so hard
Fen is feeling a lot better today. Heās on a super low fat diet to treat his pancreatitis, and meds to help with nausea and pain

Iām glad heās feeling better. She was super-excited to eat the rice and lean beef so if she keeps it down I will give her some more. I added some probiotics I had at home that were from the vet in the past. I hope it is something that will clear up quickly- we are supposed to go on vacation on Saturday

I was gonna ask about the muzzle. It looks so comfy and looks the pup can breathe unlike muzzles I have seen in the past. Very cool.

It was expensive but I love it! He has a really long snout and no traditional muzzle would fit him properly so it really was our only option, but Iām so glad I got it for him.
