Best place to sell

Where is that best place to try and sell your creations? I know a lot of people use eBay, but has anyone had any luck using etsy? How about Facebook?

Mine are on reborns.com and rebornmarketplace.com.

A lot of ladies here sell on all 3 of those. And use reborns.com. I have never sold on fb… But so many have good luck with that. I am getting my website together and work on my etsy store. It seems on etsy you can get the highest prices.

I haven’t tried Etsy, yet. That might be next up for me.

At one point in time I sold on EBay, now I sell just on Etsy. I have tried reborns.com but that didn’t work for me.

I really have to get my etsy shop together!

@NikkirocYeah, if you can get anyone to visit your store! So far it's not my venue. I know you are busy working on all the tricks and keywords so I'll wait until you are successful and then pick your brain and steal your customers, LOL. (Just kidding of course! )

Lolololol oh yeah!!! How do you get people to look at your store??? And the keywords… That stumped me! Lmao

My store just sat there. I don’t even stock it anymore. But I know there are people on here who do really well at Etsy. My neice has had two Etsy stores for her jewelry etc. for a long time and she supplements her income from it. Good luck with yours Nikki. Please let us know what works for you. I would really like to sell on Etsy, it just doesn’t work for me.

It took me over a year to establish my shop. I don’t make a ton of money but everyone of my sales go back into my babies and fabric. I get a lot of views from Google Search and it has taken me over 6 years for that one. I also sell clay items too so that helps. The more items you have the more views you will get.
Here is a link to my shop.

I had a shop on Etsy for a few years, bought one thing, sold one reborn, and then…DEAD. Couldn’t sell anything so I finally closed it. I would LOVE to be able to sell there.

I have used etsy and have sold 24 babies, it averages 1 month and I use reborns.com also and have sold my babies there. I have to watch my pennies so I try to choose carefullly and get the most exposure i can. I do have a facebook site but have not sold any on it as yet and really don’t expect to because I won’t take my ad blocker off. :footprints:

Thanks for all the great input ladies. I think I will try etsy and reborns.com for now. For some reason eBay scares me.

My next question is, what do you think would be a fair price for this baby? He is my first one. I would love to keep him because he is so cuddly, but I have to sell him to make more. Lol. Anyways, be truthful, I can take it.

He is about 6 pounds.

Which sculpt is he? Do you have more pictures?

I used Etsy a couple of years ago. I think I sold a couple of babies there but got 5 more orders from one customer (for family). My concern with Etsy is really being able to list elsewhere. I am on reborns.com right now. Sales and exposure there seems to have picked up in the last year from what I can tell. I also sell from my FaceBook page.

That is a good question. For me it was trial by error (and usually more error). I try to offer some lower price dolls and my more expensive ones. The ones I make from BB that I get on sale I sell for $175.00 up to $350.00 those are the ones that get my views for me. But they stay out there on an average of a month if not less. I do a lot of self promoting with different teams. I spend a lot of my time researching on what works and what doesn’t.

And thanks for your kind words. I love my shop and are very passionate about Etsy  If you ever need any help just let me know. I can share what I have learned over the years.
