Does anyone have a suggested price for my Kyle? If he’s bad, I need to know that too. Like I said, I can take it. If this is not my thing, I need to know before I invest a lot of money. Sometimes other people can see what you can’t, so I need the brutal truth.

I’m bad at pricing! But… I find that if you list at 199 he will go fast! People buy the dolls under 200 like hot cakes!

Etsy hasn’t worked for me at all…REBORNs.com sells a few…but I tend to sell locally and so for me, that works well…it will be 2 years this coming June and I have sold 92 REBORNs …but have a great customer in Toronto area who has bought over 20 of them…!!..that really helps…when hubby and I went to see our doctor today I brought business cards and photos…the secretaries loved them…next visit I will bring babies…!!..never know.!!..plus I sell mostly BB sculpts for $250.00 Canadian plus shipping so the price is not high.

I started with selling mine by word of mouth. Then I moved to Facebook. I never intended to sell them to get rich but after giving away the first 7 or 8, I started getting orders. I limit the # of custom orders but mostly I list he ones I want to sell on Reborns.com. I keep, saying Im going to keep one for myself but haven’t so far. I have one that belongs to my grandson but that’s about it.

I’m trying to learn the whole Facebook marketing thing… There a trick to it… I’m learning slowly. I used to only have my high school and college friends and my family on fb… I had like 250 friends… Now I have almost 2000… Doll people!

I sold successfully, very successfully in fact on etsy with my embroidery shop… But reborns?? Nope. I get a LOT of very very young kids asking for things free or going on about wanting holds but no deposits etc. yes I’ve made a couple of sales on etsy with them but the market on etsy is soooo flooded with reborns both bad and good. I have my sister advertising for my via FB since I don’t have social media and I’ve gotten more interest and such with doing tjat for local sales than I have online. I’ve only sold one on reborns.com

I’ve always used EBay. I’ve never had a baby not sell the first or second time. Sometimes they sell privately through Doll Fan, email inquiries, or repeat customers. I know the fees are high, but I don’t have Facebook and wouldn’t know where else I would get exposure like that.

I’ve not tried reborns.com. But it sure seems to be working for lots of ladies. I may check it out.
