Testing new matte formula

Ok, so I was reading here that the temp. Should be lower for the new matte formula. Here’s what I did:
I mixed about 80% matte with 20% satin in a empty jar.
I applied the to a dense flat wedge and applied by pouncing it in ALOT.
Then I baked at 180 for 8 mins in the nuwave.
The feel is nice, not corse and there’s NO shine.

Great thanks for sharing your experiment!! Question, you highlighted “alot”. Is it still thick and theres more than usual pouncing?

Looks great but my tendonitis will not permit me to pounce it out full strength. I have to thin it down to a more workable texture for my hand to be able to handle it. I will try that at the lower temp and see how it goes on my next baby.

No it wasn’t really thick, but still needed lots of pouncing to make it even.

I believe the lower temp setting made a big difference.

Ok thanks!!

Thanks for letting us know your results. I assume you have squeezed it all over to make sure it doesn’t crackle?
