Maggie Marie

OMG is it just me, or is Maggie Marie Faber the biggest, chunkiest little butterball that you’ve ever seen? I’m actually scared of her head, and wonder if there is enough mohair in this world to root it LOL! If anyone has completed this sculpt, could you please let me know how much mohair you needed?

Thanks!!

I did Maggie Marie and rooted her with Sugargliderus slightly wavy/straight in dark brown and used less than half of a 1/2 oz package. I always cut my mohair into shorter pieces so it isn’t so traumatic to cut it short when I am finished.

Gorgeous! And relieving. I am traumatised because I recently rooted a head . . . only to run out of mohair with just a silver-dollar sized area to go . . . only to discover that my supplier is no longer processing mohair . . . only to realize that NO other colour in this universe matches my particular colour. Like I said: traumatizing. At least with Slumberland I know I can order more if I have to, but I’ll take your cue and cut the hair in half.

Thanks for the info, the tip and the adorable pics!!!
