Since ladybug is a toddler, do i need to not give her mottled skin ? What is a good way to paint a toddler?

This is my most recent toddler, Cookie RuBert. I always mottle Caucasian babies…it brings the skin tone to life in a way that just using flesh tones and blush will not…

I would just use eyelid purple mixed with warm blush and lip red all very faint

for what? her blushing?

I add mottling but I do it alot lighter than I would for a newborn. It gives depth and dimension to the skin.
