I always have just used a regular oven thermometer, but I am really afraid of melting a kit so I bought one with a transmitter and receiver to monitor the temperature. If anyone else uses this type where do you put the probe? Obviously there is nothing to really stick it in, so I have it over to the side. The oven is too small to put it elsewhere and it does not pick up an accurate reading at all. Thanks in advance.
