Character Challenge Contest ( new deadline)

There seems to be a lot of interest in having a Character Challenge so here we go:

This challenge is going to be a bit different but sticking to most of the same rules as the other challenges.

GENERAL RULES: (A bit boring but necessary!)

  1. Doll pictures can not be displayed on any other sites until after voting,This includes Facebook, Ebay, and other social and sales sites, etc.
  2. No one should reveal what doll kit they will be doing or what character they are doing- like receiving a gift this should be a total surprise!!!
  3. You may enter more than one baby if you wish…
  4. The voting is open to FORUM MEMBERS ONLY
  5. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
  6. Pictures can be submitted at any time to my email address - mirandaleighsnursery@yahoo.com
  7. I will need 3 pictures for each entry- 1 close up shot, 1 full body shot, and one picture of the character that you choose to make.
  8. You can show pictures of several different characters if you need assistance with finding the best possible match for which sculpt to use but keep the character and kit that you choose secret and have fun.

Ok now the FUN PART!!!

THEME: Character- This can be achieved by the sculpt you choose and the way you dress your baby. The point of this any character from any TV show, movie, comic book, etc.

DOLL KIT: Any doll kit of your choice that will make the best match for the character that you are making (a BB sculpt would be great but not absolute)

Start Date: Officially to start immediately

FINAL SUBMISSION DATE : MAY 10th by 12pm Central time

VOTING: Voting will be done on a “Star rating” system like what Starr used.
Voters wil designate stars for thheir choices- I will use
1st choice - 3 stars
2nd choices- 2 stars
3rd choice- 1 star

There might be two categories for voting.
BEST INTERPRETATION OF CHARACTER
BEST CHARACTER MATCH

VOTING WILL BE OPEN - MAY 10th-13th (and must be submitted by May 13th by 11:00 pm central time.)
You may vote for your own baby if you feel it is the best…
You can only cast your votes once

If I have forgotten anything, please feel free to post your comments.

Best of luck to everyone… This is going to be a very fun, very diverse and very difficult to vote on challenge!!

Nah! I was just trying to give someone a good laugh or at least put a smile on their face. @DearBaby got me good the other night so had to at least try and make her laugh :slight_smile:
