the metal joints are annoying… I think I will cover them with a limb plug… glue it to the wood disc… I ran my finger on the end of the metal springs and it could easily rip open a weight pouch… So I will cover it.
I had a body with the cardboard and metal joints that I replaced with plastic joints from Bountiful Baby. The plastic joints are super inexpensive and it was easy enough to change them out.
I got two kits from Macs and I ordered the bodies as well, Natali Blick kits never come with a body…as far as I know, and I got the tan bodies. I wonder why they sent you the white ones, @jlesser?
I wonder if they either ran out of bodies or that you picked “jointed” bodies because my has a little label that says “non jointed” on it. Its not the good quality doe suede body though so I think Im going to have to buy two more from somewhere else.
