Wouldn't ya know

I just received the belly plates I ordered from BB and today they came out with the realborn belly plates. Oh well. They are anatomically correct anyway, and I try to avoid those. They make me feel a little squeemish…

I don’t think they are any more special (the realborn plates)

Helen, you can always cut the lower part off before you paint.

I honestly never thought of that. There have been some plates I really liked but avoided. This way I could use them. But maybe cutting them off would really feel wierd, LOL.

Helen, you can soften the cut edge with acetone on a q-tip.

Yeah, then there’s the thought of what you would do with the stuff you cut off…LOL

Helen, the really weird part would be; what if someone was raking through the trash looking for recyclables and came across THOSE parts------NOW that would be WEIRD, that could scare somebody to death, talk about PTSD!!!

@lynn I’m sitting here reading this and thinking the EXACT same thing. I’m thinking of ways to hide he parts so no one finds them or the neighbors dog doesn’t dig one up and take it home…yikes!

Lol I prefer the gender specific babies because I just can’t STAND the idea of a baby being an “it” I hope no one takes offence to that but I want either a boy or a girl and only to dressed as such. Call me old fashioned I guess…Something just adds to the realistic identity for me I suppose. It makes them little imaginary people as opposed to things that are just “whatever”…

I cut a plate just this weekend. It felt a little odd to do but I actually love the plate now that it’s not so, um, specific
