I did a willow flower as a portrait baby of my daughter. Here she is (she was one of my earlier babies, number 5 I think)

I used dark brown hair from Angela’s Premium Mohair. It was wavy, and I made the curls using pipe cleaners, pieces of straw, and paper clips. I sprayed the hair with a mixture of leave in conditioner and alcohol free styling gel before I wrapped strands in the pipe cleaners and straws, then secured with paper clips. Then I used a hair drier to dry it, and let it dry fully for at least 24 hours. Then I carefully unwrapped the curls. As long as you don’t overly comb the hair or play with it too much, the curls hold up pretty well. Here’s a picture of another head I did using the same technique.

I havent tried her mohair yet, but ive seen some people like it. I just ordered some wavy yearling from slumberland…i will try this method lol. I probably will buy tiny sponge rollers from the beauty supply lol

I second that thought I gotta know what type of hair! I have a Lillian that I want to do her hair like this! So beautiful!

The real Willow Flower has such a cute cheeky smile, I have the kit and will be painting her in the future.

This is an adorable kit, but more adorable little girl! I just started painting her yesterday. Did anyone put Willow Flower on a full leg body, and which one did you use?
