I came to a little bit of a shocking discovery this week! I have pre-ordered more kits than I had realized! I got a balance due for Haven and it said I ordered 2 kits. I had forgotten that it was not paid off but I also “thought” I had only ordered one kit. I usually pay my kits in full when I pre-order because I do not like surprise balances due. However, for some reason Truborns has not been offering the pay in full button for a lot of the newer kits. I do not like this but have ordered there none the less as she is my preferred dealer. So in looking at my order history I discovered this is what I have pre- ordered. More than I realized, so now I am wondering if I can afford to get a Gracie Mae awake or how popular she will be? She is a large edition of 3000 kits.

I quit being crazy about Gracie Mae once I started painting my asleep one and by the time I finished it, I wasn’t a fan of that face anymore at all. The mouth is not nice, in my opinion.
Wasn’t Gracie Mae asleep also a LE of 3000? And she sold out relatively fast…
Primrose Awake and Asleep were very popular, so I would think that Gracie Mae awake will be, too.
I thought so too, it’s hard to tell these days. I thought Primrose would be a hit like Gracie Mae, but I noticed most Primroses didn’t sell well at dotwe and there are 28 for sale on reborns.com, and she’s already been made into a counterfeit

I’m a pass on Gracie Mae awake, appreciate her but I have to be in love to pre-order now and I’ve seen too many asleep ones so I don’t think she’ll sell as well as the asleep version.

Why are there fakes of Primrose for sale already, but no fakes of Gracie Mae when I search on Google Shopping? Was something different done during her production? Primrose came out after Gracie Mae. What changed?
Maybe because there was so many of Gracie Mae? I dunno…

I don’t understand why you would not change the limbs or something on this sculpt to make it a little different from original Gracie. So did they just open the eyes on Gracie and call it a new sculpt? Just wondering?
I loved the sleeping version but I like scrunch faced babies. I like the awake version too but prefer the sleeping. I would like to get at least one awake. Sigh…I fear i may be in over my head indeed! I must go see who I can sell!
I went for 2 from LLE with no tummy plates. I made the mistake of getting those tummy plates on the sleeping version and IMO they are a waste of money.
