Im going to keep the kits that i want for myself and perhaps send them to an artist to do them for me

Im not confident enough to do them. Everytime i do them i make terrible mistakes

Hi Lovely, Just wondered how old you are? Your name "butterflyâ seems to suite your personality very well⌠Butterflies are lovely flitty creatures that never land in one place for very long. Maybe in choosing your avatar name there is a subconscious understanding in yourself about who you are. That is not a negative as I have several friends who have the same personality⌠they are sweet and kind and even creative but they never stay focused on any one thing so tend to never finish many things they start. That is ok⌠It takes all types to make the world go round. You know you really do not need advice from anyone here about this as you already know what you are going to do, right. 
That fact that so many ladies have taken the time to respond to you shows that they care so If you just need people to talk to maybe focus on something else and get involved on other threads and conversations here. There are other ladies who do not reborn dolls on here but they are still a part of the forum and everyone is kind, shows interest and are inclusive - dolls makers or not.

So many think reborning is easy. It isnt. You have to be willing to make not so nice dolls. And start over. agajn. And agajn. And again.
Let me show you.

And many dolls later. Years later.

Its okay that this isnt for you.
Its also okay to just be lonesome and want someone to talk to. You dont have to keep making these posts for someone to talk to. Just engage in any convo on the page. We like to chat.

Itâs not that people are trying to be discouraging. People have answered her questions graciously over and over again and are getting frustrated. It is time to make a decision and stop asking the same questions.

I just came to say the same thing @LisaLynn. This is not us âdiscouragingâ her. This is us giving our honest opinions - which she asked for, multiple times in multiple posts on multiple days with no change in outcome. If you cannot be honest with someone when they ask your opinion how do you learn & grow? She didnât ask anyone to blow smoke up her rear, just out opinions & thoughts. Thatâs what we have done time & time again. At some point you do have to make a decision that something is not for you. Giving up something that brings you only stress, anxiety & frustration is common sense. There are loads of other creative outlets to try. At some point being realistic with yourself and limitations enable you to grow as a person and find your true joys and talents. Itâs absolutely acceptable to give up on something if youâre not great at it or brings you no joy. It allows you to find what you are good at and makes you happy.

I always try to stimulate people to go on never give up if you really want it you can be an artist to over time !
Sometimes i see artist that sel there dolls that are not good and stil they sell

Not everyone can be a doll artist. And thatâs ok. There are tons of other things to try. Call it moving on if giving up sounds harsh. Life is too short to waste time on something you get nothing positive out of.

I understand some sell dolls that are not âgoodâ but they are considered complete by their artists. And someone liked them enough to buy them. The original poster has not even completed one doll, so you canât really compare those things.

I personally appreciate people being honest with me. Blowing smoke doesnât help anyone.
I think she struggles with not being as good as she wants from the start. Thats any art. Gotta be willing to make mistakes.

I do I have 12 babies for myself. I donât sell any because Iâm good at painting them, but not that great at hair rooting.

I kept the reborns I painted. The first reborn I painted looked terrible. I didnât know how to use a forum. I thought painting a reborn would be easy. I was wrong. I never felt I was good enough or confident enough to sell my reborns. I painted many for free for my family.
Learning the process of painting a reborn and getting better is a long process for some. It takes a lot of practice and making a lot of mistakes.
Even though I never sold my reborns, I enjoyed it as a hobby. I ended up quitting because of my health. I miss the painting process but rooting hair was hurting me.
