While Waiting on Emmy

I wanted to ask, what is different in painting a toddler than a baby in your opinion? Could sure use some pointers.

They aren’t blotchy and colorful like the little ones, so they are a bit harder to make look real, I think. Bigger parts are more work to paint… The upside is that you can use yourself, your veins and whatever else for reference, plus stuff like nails is easier to see.
