Which one do I choose?

I would like to make my aunt a reborn doll. I love sleeping Ashley. She is a dream to paint. But I also think she would like 3 month sleeping Joseph.
There is a vast difference in the size I know but going by face which one would you choose for your Aunt?
She isn’t frail and doesn’t have heath issues but still I’m worried the big doll might not be as comfortable for her to love on and hold? Opinions please…
I really need to start this doll while I’m on a short work break.

I’d do Ashley. Big Joe is really big and I found him awkward to hold where Ashley fits comfortably in your arms and isn’t too heavy to hold for long periods of time.

Depends on your aunts health. Ashley is small but not that light. The other has to be really heavy. I vote Ashley. I’ve loved her ever since I made her for my aunt.

Thank all of you for your replies. I think Ashley is the winner.
I wanted to make a different kit but I don’t have time to go through all my kits so I just decided to pick between the two. Mostly because they weren’t in the attic.
Ashley will be much more comfortable for me to carry in a carry on bag when I go back to work. Joe might have been a bit of a nightmare.

I’d definitely choose Ashley. 3m joe is adorable but he is huge- Ashley is cute and is easy to hold and keep

I might paint realborn Ashley one day because I want a straight leg baby since most of the reborns have bent legs which is the most popular.:blush:
