ETA: I have started listing some on my reborns page at ShieldSquare Captcha
I have about 40 more kits to go…
I have decided to sell all of my reborn stuff. I started making dolls during Covid, and then used them to pay to start my photography business which then took off, and I haven’t made a doll in two years. I’m crazy busy working now, but I have a ton of high quality (and probably SOLE) kits sitting in my house, as well as all of my really nice reborning supplies that are taking up a ton of space. It’s thousands of dollars worth of stuff, so I just want to get something back out of them, and I am sure there isn’t some magic local person to me that wants to get into this and is ready to jump on a bunch of high end kits and supplies. LOL.
Anyway, wondering where the best place would be for me to sell off my stuff. I’m about to take an inventory and make a spreadsheet to get it all figured out.
Most offer here on those forum and do sell most of there stock. Others who have reborns.com sell there. Create a inventory list with prices and pictures. Add whether or not it’s gonna be shipped separately or included in the price that’s helpful to.
The easiest way to deal with selling a bunch of kits is to open a nursery on reborns dot com. List them all, individually there. Then share your nursery link here. You could absolutely list them here, but when dealing with a lot, it’s hard to keep track of your sales here. But if you direct us over to your reborns dot com nursery you will get direct, easy sales without having to send invoices. On reborns if you do the $20 option, it will also show them to the customers on there. A lot of us artists watch the kit section for kits. Only one every 24 hours will show up on the search. But all you need to do is add a statement on each listing telling people to look at your nursery for more kits and supplies.
Thanks everyone! I DO have a reborns account, so I have started to list them there. I will add a bunch more tomorrow, but I have a few SOLE kits posted already.
Hi Joy, I have listed some of my sold out kits so far, so those aren’t probably what you’re looking for, but I also have a bunch of kits that aren’t SOLE that will be a bit cheaper than retail - tons of cloth bodies, high end mohair, paints, brushes, I Art Ultra eyes, etc.
@JoyW is pretty much brand new, but has an amazing natural talent for the art. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was painting prototypes within a year or two.
