She actually passed on 5/29 on her 77th birthday. Esther shared with Marita. I wonder why they waited so long to announce it publicly?

I would think that it probably had to do with disbelief and utter despair combined with trying to find the right words to make such a sad announcement and contacting the funeral home and all of the legalities involved in a loved one passing away.
