If you are completely new I would recommend YouTube series ‘Reborn With Me’ - so detailed and step by step. You can see brushes and everything.

I teach heat set on YouTube, I have a ton of videos teaching both beginner and advanced. I have a couple videos going over supplies including brushes and sponges, all links are in the descriptions
