What ELSE do you DO?

I loved reading the “What did you do today?” thread. There are so many creative people here.

What else do you do? Bake, sew, photography, sports? Besides reborning, what’s your thing?

Pictures are a plus!!***

I ran a very successful embroidery shop and made lots of custom clothes for babies and kids, also sewed custom minky blankets, and made custom hairbows! I still do by request. Old customers from Etsy still email me personally to make blankets, bibs, burp clothes etc as gifts and birthday shirts for their kids. And of course for my kids and family. Warms my heart when old customers still come to me even though my “shop” is closed!

These are my kids in some of their custom shirts and hairbows I made and my newphew in his minky blanket
And newborn shirt and above you can see his custom burp cloth

My sewing machine is broken but I used to make stuffed animals with patterns from Funky Friends! They are awesome and easy to follow. I have also done sock monkeys, sock horses, sock unicorn, sock puppies, and crocheted monsters.

Here are some photos.

Oh and I did lots of hair bows, clips and headbands

No not too hard. I’d get scrap wood to practice first to get the feel of the tips and get used to how much pressure to use and stuff. It’s super fun!!

I did in-home daycare last year for a baby and 3 pre-pre-schoolers. That was HARD!!! Only one was 100% potty trained! I haven’t gotten to teach in class yet. Need to finish my current class plus one more to have enough units to start subbing. Then I’ll have a much better idea of where I’ll fit best. I love doing arts and crafts and science… We’ll see!
