What does wavy slumberland mohair root like?

I’m about to start rooting a baby and I have some wavy mohair from slumberland. The color is exactly what I want but I’ve never rooted a doll with wavy hair, only wavy/straight, which is always pretty straight. Does it root wavy, straight, or more curly? Would I be able to put curls in the babies hair? I either want straight hair or to put curls in but I don’t know how it works lol. Any pictures of your work with it would help! Thanks so much!

Don’t know if this will help because this isn’t slumberland but it’s “wavy” from Silkeffex.

Gorgeous hair!

@PutABonnetOnIt, thank you.

That’s beautiful! I can only hope mine turns out like that :heart_eyes:

I have yearling. Tried kid once and it is crazy fine! Very hard to root. I have straight wavy yearling in a different color from slumberland and it roots beautifully. It turns out nice and straight and was the easiest hair I’ve ever done, I hope you like it too! It’s just way too dark for me to use on this doll.

@RebeccaKatie, thank you. You will do great. This is yearling I believe.

I wasnt even aware that Slumberland had adult mohair, learn something new everyday. I only like fine adult or angora and Ive been playing with some human hair. I have used alpaca, its so fiddly but looks nicer and lays flatter with tiny babies.
Ill have to see if I can find some adult Slumberland…where do they sell it? Im in Europe so they only sell the kid and yearling here which I hate.
