What do you think of this

I am wanting to do some sewing, do you think this pattern would be versatile? I love that it has the little shoes. I think I am going to try to make a soft romantic vintage style dress and bonnet for my Anastasia. If I ever get her started.

That pattern is versatile and should work well for what you want to do.

What a cute pattern, where did you get it? I love the little romper. Anastasia would look adorable in the dress. Go for it.

I adore the little pintucks. I’m such a sucker for tiny pintucks. They just say baby to me.

Is it hard to learn to sew? With a pattern? I have never done it before but my mom bought me a sewing machine for Christmas:-) I’m going to make myself funky pieces and make my doggies a whole line of dog toys!!! I am not a fast learner, is this something I can teach myself?

It is very easy if you know the basics. You can get patterns that are made to be easy. If you can follow directions you should be able to do it. Pull out your machine and give it a try.

Yes look for tutorials online! Pinterest has tons. I am self-taught. You could look around for local sewing classes too. Have fun!! Stuffed animals (for doggy toys maybe) are way easy!

@Nikkiroc I bet there are sewing tutorials on youtube. I know there are project tutorials for sewing I made a bunch of handbags and things using this womans tutorials, but I already know how to sew. Threading your machine is the hardest part, LOL.

I’m going to put my two cents in here-----I don’t think the romper is meant for a boy as it has puff sleeves. Boy sleeves are usually never puffed but straight. I think you could modify it though and it would then be perfect for a little boy. Good Luck would love to see it on a little vintage baby boy!! Hope I’m not overstepping here.

I think you’re correct Lynn. Little boys would never have had the puffed sleeves. I’m pretty sure. But it would be easy to modify for a boy.
