What details to add a bald baby?

Hi there everyone! I like bald babies as I was bald when I was a baby. I was wondering when you paint bald dolls, what details do you put on the head? Do you paint veins? I would definitely do mottling. One tutorial I saw the artist did a purple wash just to the top of the head. So I was wondering what details to do?

Id definitely do alot of veins, some lighter than others

I do veins and mottling. I paint the whole head that way regardless of whether I am painting hair over it or not though.

Veins, mottling, shading on the fontanel, a stork bite or a raspberry birthmark.
