I’m trying to figure out how to get this color tootsies. It’s so realistic and adorable. I see pink and purple hues, what do you see??

I see lavender undertones and a magenta-ish blush. I’d do a few lavender washes on the feet and hands and then blush.

I see pink and a pinkish red. I try to get this color and have the hardest time. I don’t know why. I either get too red or too pink when I try to mix this color.

I mix my own colors. I don’t ever really use any premixes. I like slightly lighter purple-y hands and feet on a super newborn so I have a special way of doing it but that’s not how I assume they got the color on this particular baby so I won’t bother going into crazy detail.
I think this baby was just blushed with a mixture that had a bit of blue in it to create a darker purpley red color.

I usually make mine more on the red-purple side but a more blueish purple might work too.

I think that might be a purple/ lavender wash very thin in delicate layers. I am only guessing, I love that color.

I love baby’s feet…can you tell?
My colors are always mixed & layer upon layer they change depending on the color beneath. I start with a mix of “magenta”, “blue” & “Genesis red” & a spot of green to warm up this pinky color & give it a more realistic newborn foot color. Every pair of feet are different as I don’t do batches of color so all my babies always have their own unique coloring.
