Gave this head a fourth shot, stripped it and painted it just to get the same purple result!

At this point I think I’m too unskilled to properly paint a dark orange kit :cry:

Have you done bright yellow washes?

Yellow wash will neutralize purple. Then let us see it again.

I assume yellow will turn it back a brownish color. Go thin. You might do more than one layer.
