I put glass beads in the hands, poly pellets up past the elbows and poly fill the rest of the way. In body I put a little poly fill in the bum then my sack of glass beads resting on the bum, the rest Cluster Stuff, then another stocking of glass beads at the top if I want the baby to be able to sit up on her own. I put glass beads toward the front of the head so her face flops forward. I don’t like the baby to be too heavy as my children were all around 6 lbs at birth so my babies are around 4 1/2 more or less depending on the size of the baby. Toddlers I know not to put anything but poly fill or cluster stuff in the head.

I have a sleeping toddler. I did weigh her head a bit, because I thought a sleeping child will be floppier than an awake one.
Her body is weighted with glass beads, but as those tend to get so messy I just put them in in the bag they came with. It was tightly rolled up plastic. I put polyfill around it and that was that, haha. Now I just feel softness when I hug her, but it’s still weighted.

@EnchantedOrphanage do you put the bag inside a stocking or cloth?

Nope. I just plopped it straight in there, haha. But she’s a keeper, so I experimented a bit with her.
